Premise

Production
In September 2016, it was announced Casey Affleck would write, direct, and star in the film, while Teddy Schwarzman will produce under his Black Bear Pictures banner.[2][3] In February 2017, it was announced Anna Pniowsky would star in the film, alongside Sierra/Affinity who will produce the film and handle international sales.[4] In August 2018, it was revealed Elisabeth Moss had joined the cast of the film.[5]
Principal photography began in February 2017 in British Columbia's Okanagan.[6][7]
Daniel Hart composed the film score. The soundtrack will be released at Varese Sarabande Records in August 16, 2019
Release
It had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 8, 2019.[8] Shortly after, Saban Films acquired distribution rights to the film.[9] It was released on August 9, 2019
